Wednesday Ladies Golf - 20.3.24

A small field played in the Stableford event at Valley View in very windy weather last week. The scores suggest it was a tough day at the office. Robyn Curnow was surprised to be announced the winner with 31 points,  and Margaret Smerdon was equally surprised to be runner up with 29 points.

Meanwhile, six Valley View players competed in the Alpine Classic held over three rounds at Myrtleford, Wangaratta and Bright. On day one at Myrtleford, Helen Emery was the A Grade winner and Janice Jonstone won B Grade. On day two in Wangaratta, Helen Emery was runner up in A Grade. On day three in Bright, it was Leanne Busch's turn to shine as she was the winner in A grade. Congratulations to Helen Emery who finished third overall in A Grade.
