Memberships
Membership year is from 1st July to 30th June (prices below for 2024/25 year)
Ordinary Member
An ordinary member has full playing rights for both golf and bowls and may participate in any of the relevant club competitions. The board of the club may, on occasions, close the course to members for trade days or related activities. Annual Membership - $440
Senior Member
Senior membership is restricted to golfers who are 70 years of age and over. Senior members have the same playing rights as an ordinary member. Annual Membership is - $350
5 Day Member
5 day membership does not permit participation in scheduled competition as follows:
Men – Saturday and Tuesday
Women – Saturday and Wednesday
It is possible to participate in competitions on these days by the payment of a green fee. Annual Membership is - $350
Country Member
To qualify for country membership you must reside in excess of 30 kilometres from Valley View. Full playing rights are extended to these members but they cannot win a monthly medal or a board event. Annual membership is - $190
Remote Member
Remote membership is a special category of membership that is restricted to anyone who lives in excess of 150 kilometers from Valley View. This category has full playing rights and is ideal for a person, who meets the requirements, who is not a member of another club and who wishes to have a recognised handicap. The club will maintain a handicap for a member in this category and will accept scorecards for games played at other clubs.
Annual Membership is - $185
Summer Member
Summer membership is available for the Victorian daylight saving period – generally from the first weekend in October to the last weekend in March of the following year. This category carries full membership rights.
Membership for the Daylight Saving period is - $330
Junior Member
Junior membership is restricted to those under 18 years of age and carries the same rights as an ordinary member.
Annual membership is - $50.00
