A beautiful sunny day greeted players for Labour Day's Stableford round, although the scores suggest the course was a little more challenging after Sunday's rain than in recent rounds.
In the Men's A Grade, Gordon McKay saluted with 35 points, four shots up from runner up Laurie Casey who finished on 31 points.
Tom Mangan had the best round of the day to win B Grade with 37 points, two shots ahead of runner up Aaron Johnson with 35 points.
In the women's event, Helen Emery finished with 31 points to take the win from Marilyn West on 29 points.
Keeping the Johnson name in the highlights, Jacob Johnson picked up a ball down the line and a nearest the pin. Tom Kerr, Kevin Livingston and Mick Gullivan also picked up balls down the line . Helen Armstrong claimed the women's nearest the pin.
