Ladies Club Championships 15.5.2024

Valley View Women's Championships, sponsored by M&S Group Accounting concluded last Wednesday, with two of last year's winners going back to back.

Congratulations to our Open Champion, Tracey Wade, 275, who backed up last year's win after a strong challenge from Leanne Busch who finished on 277.

Our new B Grade Champion is Helen Armstrong who carded 302 after three steady rounds to earn a well deserved win by four shots from Wanda Hacon, 306.

In C Grade Marie Watt, 320, backed up last year's win to take the Championship by two shots from up and comer, Wendy Cox, 322.

The handicap winner from all other players in the championships, was Bev Lyon with 230 nett.

In the daily competition, kindly sponsored by Terry White Chemmart,  Julie Neale had the best score of the day, 93-21-72, to win A Grade from Marilyn West, 97-22-75, who was also nearest the pin.

Wendy Cox was the clear winner in B Grade with, 104-30-74. In a three way count back, Judy Sutton, 123-45-78 was runner up from Helen Armstrong and Judy Greer who both finished with, 103-25-78. Judy Greer was nearest the pin.

Our Division Three Pennant team are two from two after defeating Rich River 3/2 at Numurkah last Monday.
