Ladies Golf Report 9/6/24
It was Monthly Medal round with Stroke and putting for Valley View Women last Wednesday. Thank you to Club member Judy Sutton for her generous sponsorship of the day.
Leanne Busch, 90-15-75, was the A Grade winner and she also won the A Grade Scratch and the Monthly Medal with the lowest score of the day. Janice Johnstone, 101-23-78, was runner up on a count back from Tracey Wade, 94-16-78. As a consolation, Wade won nearest the pin.
In B Grade, Sharon Harrison,100-24-76, finished 3 shots ahead of Runner up Bev Lyon, 103-24-79. Harrison won the scratch and Judy Greer was nearest the pin.
Tracey Wade won the putting competition with 28 putts.
The Pennant Season wound up at Shepparton last week. Valley View's Division 3 team put up a valiant effort before finally going down to Tocumwal 3 1/2 to 1 1/2. In a tight match three players finished on the 18th hole and one on the 17th.
