Ladies Golf Report 28/8/24

Valley View women played our September Stroke and Medal round Wednesday, which was brought forward due to greens being cored this week. Sarah Ross at Kyabram Remedial Massage was our very generous sponsor for the day.

In A Grade, Helen Emery, 94-17-77, was the winner by two strokes. Janice Johnstone, 101-22-79, was runner up on a count back from Tracey Wade and Leanne Busch. Leanne Busch was the scratch winner with 93 off the stick and also recorded the least putts with 23.

B Grade winner and Monthly Medal winner, with easily the best score of the day was Margaret Smerdon who recorded 104-31-73. Runner up and B Grade scratch winner was Vonnie Morris with 101-24-77.

Players blamed the extremely windy conditions for their inability to land on the 15th green and claim nearest the pin. 

Helen Emery won the play off for the Silver Spoon.
