Golf - Ladies weekly report - 15.11.23

Another busy week for Valley View Women. After our members successfully defended the Inter Club trophy against Parkland on Sunday 12th, our Pennant team travelled to Cobram Barooga on Monday 13th to play, due to the vagaries of the draw, Parkland. Valley View were the winners 3 1/2 to 2 1/2. Monday's match was at Tocumwal against Hill Top. Results next week.
Wednesday's golf was President's Day, with a secret draw for partners. Players completed a Stableford round and then cards were drawn randomly to decide the winners.
Marilyn West had the best score of the day of 35 points and with her partner Judy Sutton's 30 points, they won the day with 65 points. Wanda Hacon's 34 points was added to Wendy Cox's 28 points to earn them the runners up prize with 62 points. Marilyn West was A Grade nearest the pin and Marlene Topp was B Grade nearest the pin.
Away from home, congratulations to Clare Kerr who celebrated a hole in one on the 15th at Parkland in the Swaggers competition last Friday.
