MIDWEEK BOWLS

> Up against second placed Moama Steamers under cover on their greens was always going to be tough. The Moama team was out for percentage boosting win, and they displayed brilliant precision bowling right across the three rinks to pickup the win by 77 shots. 99 to 22.

> Next Tuesday we travel to Deniliquin who are in third place. Good luck.

> WEEKEND PENNANT

> At home on Saturday against top team Moama Steamers was always going to be difficult, given that we required a sub and also one team only had three players.

> All three Valley View teams struggled to find the consistency needed to overcome the good bowling from the Steamers rinks. Going down by 53 shots. 87 to 34.

> Next weeks match is at home again against Lockington.
